It’s More Blessed To Give Than To Receive!
Dear Family,
I am thankful for all of the blessings, and victories in all the battles of 2024. God is good, and He is faithful! We are debt-free as a church family, and we are blessed to be a blessing.
Recently, in prayer, the Lord reminded me of the importance of financial stewardship, sowing and reaping, giving and receiving. Israel was divinely instructed to give special harvest offerings during some of the yearly Feasts, proportionate to how the Lord had blessed them during the year.
Praying over this, He led me to invite our church family to participate in two of these special yearly offerings: Spring Harvest offering (Pentecost: First fruits), and Fall Harvest offering (Tabernacles: End of year). The Scriptures teach us to give according to the blessing of the Lord. In my prayer time… Spring seemed to be seed-focused, looking forward in faith to all He is inviting us into. Fall was Harvest focused, on stewarding the blessing of the Lord in the past year.
“… the Feast of Harvest (Pentecost), the firstfruits of your labors which you have sown in the field; and the Feast of Ingathering (Tabernacles) at the end of the year, when you have gathered in the fruit of your labors from the field.” – Exodus 23:16
“Every man shall give as he is able, according to the blessing of the Lord your God
which He has given you.” – Deuteronomy 16:17
Fall Harvest offering is throughout the remainder of this year. Prayerfully look at how the Lord has blessed you, and bring a special harvest offering (end-of-year giving) online or in person. These offerings are not always project-driven, they are relational according to the working of God’s blessings in your life and business. As you give, remember, that the amount is secondary. Attitude and obedience to His leadership are key. Your generosity in serving and giving is changing lives. In our prelaunch season, we are prayerfully seeking what is next for our Faith Center Family. We have no agenda of man, only seeking our assignment from God. We are the family of God building the kingdom of God. I ask you to pray, hear the Lord, and respond in faith.
