Fan It Into Flame

“ 6 This is why I remind you to fan into flames the spiritual gift God gave you when I laid my hands on you. 7 For God has not given us a spirit of fear and timidity, but of power, love, and self-discipline.” – 2 Timothy 1:6-7 (NLT)

Dear Family,
I thank God for you!

Did you hear about the dream? I recently shared a dream from a prophetic leader in Mexico. In the dream, they saw me and my house (church and ministry) on fire. They came and told me, “Hey, your house is on fire.” I replied, “Yes, this is what we have been praying for. It is wonderful.” The house and the people were on fire, burning with passion for God. The fire spread rapidly throughout the globe. She said there was only one person who was not on fire.

I believe this is from God, and it confirms this for me. The moving of God’s Spirit demands stewardship. Revival demands responsibility. Our cry is still, “Let it be done to me according to Your Word” and “Give me sons.” He is birthing something in us that we must be responsible for bringing forth. He is connecting us with spiritual brothers and sisters and fathers and mothers to help bring forth what He is conceiving in us.

We are the family of God building the kingdom of God. Your generosity and ministry are impacting our region, generations, and nations. Let’s be reminded to fan into flames the gifting of God in and through our lives.

May your heart burn.

May your family burn.

May your business burn.

May your life group burn.

May your ministry burn.

May we all burn with the zeal of the Lord in power, love, and self-discipline.

Ask yourself, “What can I start/stop doing to fan into flame the fire of God in and through my life?”
